Job Title: Architectural Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team, focusing on multi-family and retail fit-out projects. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Partner. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, capable of overseeing assistant project managers, and skilled in construction administration.

Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day operations and oversee assistant project managers on assigned projects.

+ Utilize Revit 80% of the time and AutoCAD 20% of the time for project designs.

+ Work through the construction administration phase for multiple projects.

+ Develop conceptual and preliminary designs in plan, section, and elevation.

+ Create 3D visualizations of design concepts using various mediums.

+ Perform project site planning, zoning, and local code analysis, and application.

Essential Skills

+ 3-10 years of architecture experience, particularly in multifamily projects.

+ Proficiency in Revit.

+ Experience in construction administration, having seen projects through from foundation to completion.

+ Strong knowledge in drafting, redlining, and construction documentation.

+ Familiarity with multi-family, mixed-use, and residential architecture.

+ Project management experience.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

+ Proven client interaction experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

+ Experience with mixed-use and multi-family projects.

+ Knowledge of elevator shop drawings, truss drawings, windows, etc., relevant to construction administration.

+ Strong architectural and construction knowledge.

+ Ability to manage junior staff and drafters.

+ Capability to work from design development through construction documents and administration.

+ Understanding of building codes, standards, structures, systems, construction materials, and specifications.

Work Environment

The firm offers a dynamic and engaging work environment with hybrid flexibility, allowing for three days in the office and two days remote. They are a growing firm with a strong pipeline of projects, providing excellent opportunities for career advancement. The firm operates with a collaborative team of MEP, structural, and civil engineers. The work includes mixed-use, affordable housing, and market-rate multi-family projects, along with retail work. Employees typically start at 8 AM and work around 40 hours a week, with flexibility as needed to meet project deadlines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cedar Grove, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
