    Job Title: Sr Project Civil Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Sr Civil Engineer to lead and coordinate the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects across diverse market sectors. This individual will play a pivotal role in mentoring staff, driving technical excellence, and fostering client relationships. You’ll join a passionate, collaborative team working on high-impact projects in healthcare, higher education, distribution, K–12, commercial, office, retail, mixed-use, and more.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and coordinate land development and infrastructure projects.

    + Mentor and guide junior staff to drive technical excellence.

    + Foster and maintain strong client relationships.

    + Ensure project success from concept through construction documentation.

    + Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects with various stakeholders.

    + Conduct hydraulic analysis and design stormwater management systems.

    + Prepare and review site plans, drainage systems, and infrastructure designs.

    + Draft and review technical and proposal documents.

    + Participate in business development and manage client relationships.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

    + Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil design and land development.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

    + Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1 year.

    + Strong experience in site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control.

    + Expertise in stormwater design and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.

    + Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring teams.

    + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    + Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and regulatory agencies.

    + Familiarity with local, city, county, and state land use regulations.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in healthcare, higher education, distribution, K-12, commercial, office, retail, or mixed-use projects.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented with sound analytical abilities.

    + Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for site visits and client meetings.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $133000.00/yr.
