Job Title: DrafterJob Description
Engage in electrical drafting by utilizing AutoCAD for new substation projects, upgraded substations, and maintenance tasks involving substations.
Responsibilities
+ Create and modify electrical designs and construction drawings for substation projects using AutoCAD.
+ Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure drafting accuracy and consistency.
+ Assist in the planning and design stages for substation upgrades and maintenance tasks.
+ Utilize software tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation in drafting tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD is essential.
+ 0 to 5 years of experience in drafting, with flexibility for entry-level or more experienced candidates.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to ask questions and communicate effectively.
+ Desire to learn and grow beyond CAD work, understanding design decisions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in consulting, utilities, or electrical systems design is a plus.
+ Knowledge of additional design software such as MicroStation or Inventor is beneficial.
+ Leadership qualities and extraverted personality traits are advantageous.
+ Technologically savvy with the ability to solve problems creatively.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
