    Job Title: Senior Project ManagerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for government projects. This role involves ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while serving as the primary point of contact for clients. The successful candidate will maintain strong relationships, ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and project updates, and lead and coordinate project teams.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for government projects.

    + Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

    + Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.

    + Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.

    + Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

    + Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

    + Provide regular updates to Senior management and clients.

    + Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures.

    + Thoroughly review line item requirements on projects and prepare proposals to be sent to the city.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably with JOC experience.

    + Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with construction management and federal government projects.

    + Familiarity with construction documentation, change orders, RFIs, and project scheduling.

    + Proficiency in using Bluebeam and other construction documentation tools.

    + Experience with commercial construction and building projects.

    Work Environment

    This position is based out of our office in Rosemont, with the flexibility to work from home on an as-needed basis for appointments or illness.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $67.30 - $76.93/hr.
