    Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (HVAC DESIGN)

    Job Description

    We are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support the Engineering Principal and Project Engineer in delivering projects through all phases. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, performing mechanical load calculations, and preparing mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and schedules.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage multiple projects concurrently with strong internal communication.

    + Perform mechanical load calculations and equipment sizing.

    + Prepare mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, plans, and schedules.

    + Review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.

    + Conduct detailed site surveys.

    + Apply basic knowledge of mechanical and building codes.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.

    + Expert proficiency in Revit for 3-dimensional drafting.

    + Proficient in mechanical engineering design, drafting, load calculations, and equipment sizing.

    + Experience with AutoCAD and HVAC design.

    Work Environment

    Enjoy a hybrid work schedule with the entire office working from home on Fridays. Our collaborative environment includes architects and engineers in-house, offering ample opportunities for teamwork. Located in midtown, near the NY Public Library, our office is a dynamic space for innovation. Our team consists of 2 architects, 6 engineers, and administrative staff, totaling about 15-20 people. We offer an unlimited PTO policy and, post-conversion, health, dental, vision, and a 3% 401k match.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $44.00/hr.
