Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. This position is perfect for someone who excels in managing financial transactions and reconciliations with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform detailed bank reconciliations to maintain balanced and accurate account records.
• Manage general ledger activities, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to verify financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records to support financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with standard accounting practices.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Address and resolve any accounting issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Provide support during audits by furnishing necessary financial documentation and records. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, with expertise in managing all aspects of bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong skills in bank reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Solid understanding of preparing and posting journal entries.
• Ability to conduct accurate account reconciliations with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with standard accounting practices and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
