Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a dynamic non-profit organization in New York, NY. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing vendor communications, processing invoices, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. Responsibilities:

• Enter and code invoices accurately into the accounting system.

• Process vendor onboarding, including managing W-9 forms and necessary documentation.

• Maintain effective communication with vendors to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.

• Handle invoice approvals and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Perform check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate records.

• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.

• Ensure adherence to the complete accounts payable cycle.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency. Requirements • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

• Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments.

• Familiarity with vendor onboarding procedures, including W-9 forms.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

• Understanding of the full accounts payable cycle.

• Experience with financial systems, such as Workday.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with vendors and team members.
