    Web Development Manager

     

    Overview

     

    This is a new role focused heavily on website maintenance, redevelopment, and stabilizing existing web platforms.

     

    Top Technical Requirements

     

    + Strong experience developing JavaScript and PHP applications.

    + Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases.

    + knowledge of Linux environments.

    + Some back-end programming experience (any relevant language).

    + Familiarity with HTTP, compliance considerations, and general web architecture.

    + 5+ years of relevant web development experience.

     

    Team Structure

     

    + Role sits within the Enterprise Technology Team (~20 people; ~15 technical).

    + No direct reports.

    + Heavy collaboration with internal teams for web development and maintenance initiatives.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    + Lead maintenance, optimization, and redevelopment of their general web platform.

    + Hands-on coding to restore and enhance existing websites.

    + Partner with internal stakeholders on web improvements and new development needs.

    + Role will evolve since it is newly created.

    + Reports To: Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Technology Infrastructure

    + Location: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

    + Hours: 35 per week
