Description
We are looking for a skilled Client Financial Analyst to oversee the financial operations of our agency in New York, New York. This Contract to permanent position involves managing vendor relationships, handling client finances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis. The role also includes supervising an offshore resource and collaborating with global stakeholders to drive efficiency and maintain financial controls.
Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor engagements, including onboarding, issuing purchase orders, processing invoices, and releasing payments.
• Oversee purchase order balances and ensure they are routed to active vendors.
• Maintain compliance with vendor-related policies and regulations, serving as the agency's resource for vendor invoicing and payment processes.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of the US revenue forecast and assist with client setup, credit limits, and billing processes.
• Collaborate with client teams to ensure timely payments and provide financial support for contracts, including MSAs and SOWs.
• Lead revenue reporting efforts and assist with month-end closing processes, including general ledger analysis and accrual calculations.
• Develop regular cash forecasts and monitor working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and pre-billed amounts.
• Maintain master utilization records and analyze client/project service levels for over/underservice.
• Build Power BI dashboards to improve accessibility of internal KPIs for stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in Dynamics/D365 and advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables.
• Familiarity with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization (preferred but not required).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and project-level financial management.
• Experience with project-based services businesses and their financial operations.
• Ability to perform variance analysis, financial modeling, and ad hoc financial evaluations.
• Skilled in data mining techniques to extract and analyze complex financial data.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage offshore resources and collaborate with global teams.
