Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and be hands on with a manufacturing organization based in Edmond, Oklahoma. This role requires a strong background in cost accounting and financial reporting, with a focus on driving accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing budgets, forecasts, and audits while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Manage manufacturing cost accounting activities, including analysis and reporting.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support decision-making and strategic planning.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records.

• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, providing insights to improve financial performance.

• Coordinate and support year-end audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

• Monitor and improve internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.

• Provide financial reporting and analysis to support business objectives and growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles.

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field

• Expertise in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting principles.

• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Familiarity with year-end audits and compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
