Description We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will take ownership of financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and overall cash flow. Responsibilities:
• Process and code invoices for accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and supporting regular check runs.
• Create and distribute client invoices, apply cash payments, and follow up lightly on collections as needed.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations, maintaining up-to-date and precise records of transactions.
• Reconcile credit card statements regularly to reflect frequent purchases made by team members.
• Oversee the flow of funds, including billing clients, processing outgoing payments, and managing shipping-related transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate management of all accounts receivable and payable activities.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper with expertise in managing comprehensive financial operations.
• Proficiency in using Excel for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
• Strong skills in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations with precision and consistency.
• Familiarity with credit card reconciliation practices and procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.
