Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in Rockwall, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will handle a variety of tax preparation tasks for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in tax processes, and proficient with accounting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and S corporations.

• Review and clean up financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Conduct bank account reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial tracking and reporting.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Analyze financial statements to identify potential tax-saving opportunities.

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years' experience in tax preparation, including individual and corporate returns.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for accounting and financial management.

• Strong skills in reconciling balance sheets and bank accounts.

• Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and calculations.

• Experience with Drake Tax Software is a plus but not required.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
