Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Counsel to join our legal team in Washington, District of Columbia. This position is ideal for a transactional attorney who excels in contract management and negotiation, while providing strategic legal advice to support organizational goals. The role offers a chance to contribute to critical business decisions and ensure regulatory compliance across various legal domains.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, leases, NDAs, and MSAs.

• Provide strategic legal guidance on business operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

• Manage intellectual property matters and stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate closely with the General Counsel and executive leadership to align legal strategies with business objectives.

• Supervise dispute resolution processes and coordinate with external counsel during litigation.

• Identify opportunities to improve legal processes and ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law.

• At least 1 year of experience in transactional law within a corporate legal department or law firm.

• Demonstrated expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts.

• Strong communication skills for effectively conveying legal concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Analytical abilities to assess risks and develop comprehensive legal strategies.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and intellectual property management.
