Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will oversee the coordination and tracking of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth communication and efficient scheduling. This contract position with the potential for long-term employment offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in production meetings to document schedules, action items, and departmental requests.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, project managers, and internal teams.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and ensure timely communication of progress.
• Coordinate the procurement and staging of materials to support project timelines.
• Track project schedules and milestones to ensure timely completion and identify potential delays.
• Assist in preparing project closeout documentation and ensure all requirements are met.
• Organize and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other project-related documentation.
• Review construction plans and architectural drawings to understand project scope and requirements.
• Support the preparation of proposals, quotes, and bid packages by gathering and organizing necessary information.
• Collaborate with sales staff, technicians, and management to address customer requests and ensure material orders are completed efficiently.
Requirements
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Administrator or Project Coordinator, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in managing project timelines and schedules.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate project records.
• Ability to review construction documents and understand project scopes.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
• Excel proficiency is a must!
• Problem-solving skills to anticipate and address potential project challenges.
