Description We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Waller, Texas. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain network systems to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance. This position requires expertise in network security and routing protocols to support critical operations within the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Cisco routers to ensure efficient network operations.

• Implement and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to enhance network security.

• Administer Cisco ASA systems to provide robust protection against cyber threats.

• Monitor and optimize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations for reliable data routing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and improve performance.

• Perform regular network assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for business operations.

• Document network configurations and procedures for future reference and compliance.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to apply best practices.

• Ensure network systems adhere to security standards and protocols. Requirements • Proven experience working with Cisco routers and networking systems.

• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewall configuration and management.

• Proficiency in administering Cisco ASA for network security.

• In-depth understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its applications.

• Familiarity with network troubleshooting techniques and tools.

• Ability to perform network assessments and implement security measures.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
