    Description

    One of our thriving international clients is looking to add a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to their finance department. In this role you will be responsible for month-end close activities, hedge accounting, journal entries and accruals, financial compliance, preparation of financial statements, coordination with internal teams and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, technical accounting research, analyze financial data, monitor internal controls, and assist with process improvement of new accounting policies. This Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will also oversee compliance requirements. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong GAAP knowledge, high attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.

    How you will make an impact

    • Generate monthly, quarterly financial reports & statements

    • Account Reconciliation

    • Prepare monthly financial projections

    • Coordinate internal and external audits

    • Build and establish strong client relationships

    • Perform financial forecasting

    • Monitor reporting models

    • Prepare monthly consolidations

    • Manage the preparation of the filing of sales & use tax

    • Assist with ad hoc projects

    Requirements

    The ideal Senior Financial Reporting Accountant candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance.

    Other requirements for this Senior Financial Reporting Accountant position include and are not limited to:

    • 5+ years of G/L/Financial Reporting experience

    • Public Accounting experience preferred

    • SAP or ERP system expertise

    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation

    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
