    We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.     Responsibilities:

    • Process high volumes of invoices, ensuring accurate general ledger coding, proper approvals, and timely payment verification.

    • Prepare invoices for scanning and attach relevant barcodes when required.

    • Enter accounts payable information into Oracle system accurately using invoices received through designated platforms.

    • Apply knowledge of company chart of accounts to code invoices appropriately and collaborate with the Accounts Payable Team Lead when clarification is needed.

    • Ensure all documentation is obtained for payment requests and audit invoices for completeness and accuracy.

    • Prepare checks for mailing in compliance with company policies and deadlines.

    • Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies, clarifying any unusual invoice items or pricing.

    • Maintain attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Assist with vendor maintenance by providing necessary documentation, such as W-9 forms, and ensure proper setup for new vendors.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent education.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

    • Basic mathematical skills for accurate financial processing.

    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle tasks with urgency.

    • Experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and entry.

    • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
