Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, data entry, and preparation of financial statements such as profit and loss reports and balance sheets.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes promptly and accurately.

• Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure all records are up to date.

• Handle accounts payable tasks, including vendor invoice processing and coding, as well as accounts receivable duties such as customer invoicing and collections.

• Conduct job costing by tracking expenses for individual projects to assess profitability and identify variances.

• Assist with year-end documentation and collaborate with external CPAs for tax preparation.

• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Generate detailed reports and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online efficiently to manage and oversee financial operations.

• Support other financial tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.

• Previous experience in industries such as construction, trade, or real estate development is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to produce accurate financial statements.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
