Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Auburn, Maine. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse SEO initiatives, including content optimization, technical SEO improvements, and AI-driven search strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Content Optimization & Editorial Support

+ Optimize blog posts, landing pages, and digital content following SEO best practices.

+ Assist editorial teams with keyword research, on-page optimization, and internal/external linking strategies.

SEO Data & Performance Analysis

+ Monitor and report on organic performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.

+ Identify trends, insights, and opportunities through data analysis and provide actionable recommendations.

Technical SEO Assistance

+ Work with development teams to resolve technical issues related to site speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, and indexation.

+ Assist with schema markup and structured data to strengthen search visibility and feature eligibility.

AI & Emerging Search Optimization

+ Monitor how content appears in AI-driven search results and generative experiences (e.g., Google AI Overviews).

+ Support optimization strategies to help ensure content is trusted, authoritative, and surfaced within AI-powered search tools.

Content Audits & Updates

+ Conduct ongoing audits of existing content to identify gaps, outdated information, and optimization opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

+ Partner with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across digital initiatives and product experiences.

Requirements

+ 1–2 years of SEO experience, including exposure to content optimization, technical SEO, and analytics.

+ Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or equivalent platforms.

+ Basic understanding of HTML and CMS systems.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Interest in emerging SEO trends, including AI-driven search and structured data.

+ Bonus: Experience with schema markup, Looker Studio, or paid search certifications (AdWords/Bing Ads).
