Description

Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a dedicated Attorney with expertise in estate planning, probate matters, and trust drafting to join our client's team in Killington, Vermont. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, passionate about assisting clients in protecting their assets, and skilled at navigating complex legal decisions. You will play a key role in providing tailored legal solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their estate planning goals and provide sound legal advice.

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.

• Oversee and assist with probate and trust administration processes.

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive case management.

• Work closely with paralegals and administrative staff to manage caseloads effectively.

• Maintain thorough and accurate client files and ensure timely communication.

• Research and interpret laws related to estate planning, probate, and asset protection.

• Develop strategies to address complex legal issues and provide solutions tailored to client needs.

• Represent clients in legal proceedings related to estate and probate matters.

• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations in all areas of practice.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active attorney license in Vermont.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust law.

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents related to estate planning and asset protection.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to manage multiple files independently and meet strict deadlines.

• Expertise in legal research and interpretation of estate planning and probate laws.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
