Reputable Sacramento firm is seeking an associate attorney to join their growing team. This position focuses on business and environmental litigation, offering an opportunity to work on complex cases alongside highly respected professionals in the field. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional writing abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in business and environmental litigation matters, ensuring their legal interests are protected.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity to advance case strategies.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case arguments and develop compelling legal positions.

• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies that align with client goals.

• Participate in motion practice and court proceedings, presenting arguments and advocating for clients.

• Maintain high standards of client communication and service, addressing concerns and meeting deadlines.

• Analyze complex legal issues and offer strategic advice to clients and team members.

• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, particularly in business and environmental litigation.

• Contribute to the firm's collegial and team-oriented culture through active engagement and collaboration.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation.

• Demonstrated expertise in business and environmental litigation.

• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Strong skills in discovery processes, including drafting and responding to requests.

• Exceptional legal research abilities and analytical thinking.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

• Commitment to working effectively in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
