Job Description:

We are seeking a Traveling Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support a large-scale data center project worth around $1B in Montgomery, Alabama. RCDD Certification is preferred for this role but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Implement and manage the six-step quality control/safety process, including site-specific quality programs

+ Lead weekly QC meetings and maintain the project Quality Process Log (QPL)

+ Develop preparatory meeting agendas and participate in meetings prior to each definable feature of work

+ Interface directly with owner’s quality assurance and management teams on all quality-related issues

+ Review inspection reports, punch lists, and close-in inspection results

+ Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field

+ Coordinate trade partner test and inspection schedules and document daily QC activities

+ Audit trade partner QC procedures and report chronic issues to upper management

+ Select and coordinate third-party testing agencies and verify adherence to standards

+ Participate in source inspections and oversee QC personnel development

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience

+ 5–7 years of experience on large commercial construction projects

+ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel templates), Prolog, Primavera, and AutoCAD

+ RCDD Certification preferred but not required

Work Environment: This is a fully Traveling QCM role. The current project is in Montgomery, Alabama.

This is a Contract position based out of Montgomery, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr.
