Why the Role is Open: - Backfill for Garrett Luskey - https://www.linkedin.com/in/garrett-luskey-36a803100/ Overview of the Product/Technology and what are you trying to accomplish? • Garrett was mid to senior level engineer. • These 2 (the other sw opening) roles will be in the same team. • Someone who is a self-starter, take the project and run with it. • Mentioned Emma Robinson from L3Harris and her self starter attitude and how she is junior running laps around the others on the team. • This is her linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/emma-robinson-0b4a35129/ • Ideal candidate embedded system knowledge, significant part of it is straight up someone who knows software development and who knows enough about embedded systems to be dangerous. • Ability to operate lab test equipment – 20% of the time • Depends on stage of the project.. Early stages this person will barely be in the lab, but as the project goes on they will test code in the lab, once the code is clear and gets passed, the code then go into the lab to be put on the transmitter test bench. • Strong C# is a good thing, one transmitter platform they have at CEC is built on C# soley. • Garrett was also a C# Expert. • We need a strong C# Engineer with strong knowledge in embedded systems 5+ years experience. • For the second role he is willing to look at someone with 3-4 years experience but not ideal, unless they truly are a rockstar like Emma Robinson.
