Position OverviewPerforms a variety of accounting activities relating to the financial operations of the Finance Department. Customers include, but are not limited to, management, vendors, third party payers and other UHS system affiliate employees. Services will be delivered in accordance with the employee’s segments and standards for the position. Employee abides by service delivery standards in interactions with, visitors, employees, vendors and other customers, complies with all Federal and State regulations and organization policies and procedures and performs duties in accordance with all safety policies and procedures.
Primary Department, Division, or Unit:
Financial Operations, UHS Senior Living at Ideal
Work Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$15.00 - $20.74 per hour, depending on experience
This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•3 years experience working in a NYS long term care facility business office with basic technical and professional accounting skills and knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance billing procedures
Preferred:
•Associate degree in Accounting or Business
•Experience in accounting functions in healthcare setting, especially a hospital or a long-term care facility
