    AWS Cloud & Generative AI Engineer

     

    Experience Level: Senior (5+ years)

    Summary

    We are seeking a seasoned Cloud engineer to build full-stack, cloud-native applications that merge modern AI innovation with scalable, sustainable architecture. This role blends hands-on AWS development and driving enterprise-grade GenAI adoption across diverse products and teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement serverless, event-driven cloud applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and S3.

    • Integration of Generative AI workflows leveraging Amazon Bedrock, RAG pipelines, and knowledge-base-driven context engineering to deliver intelligent, reliable, and extensible AI capabilities.

    • Develop internal frameworks and reusable modules that enhance developer experience, maintainability, and cloud efficiency.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data science teams to bridge business goals with scalable cloud solutions.

    • Champion accessibility-first design and inclusive engineering practices across products and internal tooling.

    • Mentor engineers and influence architectural direction aligned with organizational growth and sustainability objectives.

    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or full-stack application development.

    • Deep hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift, Glue, ECS/EKS, IAM).

    • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or similar languages for serverless development.

    • Strong grasp of context engineering, prompt orchestration, and LLM application design.

    • Proven success leading cross-functional engineering teams to innovate at the intersection of technology and business.

    • Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design principles.

    • Experience integrating agent-based architectures and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) on AWS.

    • Understanding of application-level security, compliance, and cost optimization best practices in the cloud.

    • Background in developing internal developer platforms, pipelines, or observability frameworks.

    • Prior contributions to AI/ML product teams or open-source cloud frameworks.
