Job Title: Public Relations Manager

Job Description

This role focuses on launching products and services, such as Ring Video Doorbells and AI-driven features, by building PR plans specifically for consumer products. You will be responsible for pitching media, driving product reviews programs, and writing press releases. The position requires working closely with marketing, legal, public policy, and go-to-market teams to deliver impactful stories that resonate with customers and media.

Responsibilities

+ Devise and lead the PR strategy for product and service launches, including those focused on AI.

+ Support team narratives and campaigns.

+ Develop storytelling opportunities.

+ Partner with marketing and go-to-market teams to ensure flawless launches.

+ Collaborate with various PR partners like analyst relations and consumer campaigns for key industry moments.

+ Collaborate with product teams to support launches.

+ Provide communications counsel to business executives on both short-term and long-term challenges and opportunities.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in Tech/Consumer Tech PR.

+ Proficiency in AI narratives and launching AI-powered products and services.

+ Strong writing skills for developing press releases, FAQs, and pitches.

+ Experience with media relations and pitching to reporters.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience driving consumer AI narratives and stories.

+ Ability to communicate complex technical details in an understandable and engaging manner.

+ Comfortable engaging with reporters to land impactful stories.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site in Hawthorn for five days a week, totaling 40 hours. The role offers ample opportunities to learn and grow, access to information and smart colleagues, and the chance to work on a well-known product.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
