The anticipated salary range for this position is $16.66 - $21.00 hourly. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for equipment set up and instruction while providing exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ May have to communicate or interact with, assess, or treat patients of all ages.
+ Documents all interaction with patients/customers in their record.
+ Listens and resolves complaints and refers to the appropriate personnel as warranted.
+ Preps for setups and sets equipment to prescribed therapy.
+ Answer inquiries and follows up with patients regarding technical issues with equipment.
+ Perform assessments/reassessments of each patient's care or service needs throughout the patient's contact with the organization including physical assessments; psychosocial assessments; functional assessments; and activity assessments.
+ Formulate, revise; and maintain basic patient care plans based on physician orders and assessment findings including the identification of patient problems/needs, goals, and actions and interventions relating to the care or service provided when necessary.
+ Monitor patient's response to the care or services provided, the actions or interventions taken, and the outcome of the care or service provided.
+ Educate patients and other end users with relation to their home medical equipment use by covering operating features, warranty, and safety while providing demonstrations.
+ Encourage patients with their therapy and compliance with equipment usage.
+ Promote safe, effective patient and organizational environments and equipment use.
+ Collects and processes payments from patients.
+ Completion of all paperwork relating to delivery, pick up, exchange, repair/replace, and additional forms as deemed necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Education and/or Experience
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
+ Two years in person customer service interaction required.
