We are seeking a skilled Data Center Cabling Technician with hands-on experience in structured cabling within data center environments. This role involves terminating jacks and RJ45 connectors, installing cabling infrastructure, and ensuring high-quality standards for network connectivity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and communicates effectively.

Key Responsibilities

+ Terminate jacks and RJ45 connectors accurately and efficiently

+ Perform basic commercial cabling tasks, including pulling and routing cables

+ Distinguish and follow color codes for proper cable termination

+ Support installation of cabling infrastructure in data centers

+ Maintain compliance with safety standards and project specifications

+ Demonstrate reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum 5 months of data center cabling experience

+ Ability to terminate jacks and RJ45 connectors

+ Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed

+ Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and 25 lbs frequently

+ Comfortable working on ladders up to 20 feet and in confined spaces

+ Must demonstrate consistent, on-time attendance

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Abilene, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
