Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support for hardware and software systems within a manufacturing environment. This role involves ensuring production and office systems remain operational and delivering hands-on support for end-user devices and network components.

Responsibilities

+ Provide on-site desktop support for all hardware in the manufacturing plant.

+ Set up, configure, install, and maintain end users' desktop computers and peripherals (production line and office).

+ Offer technical support for computers, phones, and printers for production and office personnel.

+ Implement and maintain network servers, including Active Directory accounts.

+ Perform break/fix support for network, server, and end-user devices.

+ Provide support for industrial printers.

+ Manage and track hardware inventory and e-waste.

+ Support Windows 10 environments.

+ Maintain mobile RF devices and workstation PCs.

+ Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Physical Requirements

+ Operation of personal computer equipment.

+ Occasional stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for installation or maintenance of network devices and cabling.

+ Ability to climb ladders to reset wireless access points.

+ Comfortable climbing built-in ladders (up to 20–25 feet) to access catwalks and mezzanines while carrying hardware.

Additional Qualifications

+ Basic understanding of routers and switches for network troubleshooting.

+ Ability to re-image computers as needed.

+ Willingness to complete ladder safety training.

+ Opportunity for growth into a lead role and potential full-time conversion after one year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
