    The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager with marketing initiatives while providing customer service. The ideal candidate must be a student at WCU (with Marketing as a Major or Minor strongly encouraged). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Knowledgeable about Meal Plans and overall Dining Services Program

    + Friendly and engaging personality

    + Adhere to all policies/ procedures

    + Detail oriented

    + Creative

    + Social Media, Photography and Video experience

    + Canva usage for graphic design

    + Autonomous work environment

    + Utilize the tools and technology available to sell meal plans and promote dining services.

    + Office administration tasks

    + Able to prioritize and carry out work tasks

    • Ensures security of company assets

    Qualifications

    + Likes to have fun at work and demonstrates a sales competitive nature

    + Must be currently enrolled at West Chester University

    + Interest in Sales/ Marketing

    + Desire to actively engage with customers to promote and grow meal plan sales and dining services

    + Work well independently and with a team

    + Self-motivated and strong communicator with managers, customers, and parents

     

    This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
