    At Northrop Grumman we are at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and innovation in space-based systems. Our **Space Systems team in Linthicum, MD** is dedicated to developing advanced RADAR payloads that support critical missions and enhance our capabilities in space. We seek a motivated and skilled technical leader to lead the Failure Review Board (FRB) for the Space RADAR Payload Assembly Integration and Test (AI&T) for a production program.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Communicate/collaborate with the Payload AI&T team (program managers, technical leads, test directors, and test bench operators), subsystem I&T teams (Antenna, Panel, and Processor I&T), architects, and subject matter experts to understand and help resolve test failures at the payload level

    + Determine troubleshooting plan

    + Help prioritize testing efforts

    + Help determine RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action)

    + Work with Program Managers to coordinate staffing and scheduling

    + Determine closure paths to Jira tickets

    + Provide technical input for Quality Notifications (QNs) in SAP production system

    + Gather data for/from the Anomaly Resolution Team and generate slides for the Failure Review Board (FRB)

    + Know/enhance/enforce the escalation plan when test failures are encountered and understand when/how to proceed per NG/program process

    + Have technical insight and experience to know if test set-up and results make sense

    Basic Qualifications:

    + BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 12 years of experience in Aerospace or Defense industry development or test; 10 years with MS; 7 years with PhD

    + Experience in sensor system integration and test

    + Experience in electronics troubleshooting

    + RF analog and digital analysis for troubleshooting and verification

    + Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + MS/BS in Electrical Engineering

    + Space RADAR AI&T experience

    + Python and MATLAB scripting interfacing with SQL database

    Primary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $235,600.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
