_Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as an_ **_Electronic Technician 3_** _based out of_ **_Rolling Meadows, IL_** _._
_The selected candidate will perform a variety of technical functions in support of the design, assembly, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems for mission-critical applications. This role requires hands-on work with electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and sophisticated test equipment to ensure all systems meet stringent performance and quality standards. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to delivering reliable, high-quality results._
**_What You’ll get to Do_** _:_
+ _Conduct functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and subassemblies._
+ _Operate specialized test stations and equipment, with a focus on RF applications and TWT (Traveling Wave Tube) tuning._
+ _Perform automated testing and MPM/TX (Microwave Power Module/Transmitter) testing._
+ _Execute test procedures, accurately record data, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and military standards._
+ _Maintain comprehensive test documentation and calibration records, adhering to safety and ESD protocols._
+ _Support root cause analysis of test failures, including data collection and implementation of corrective actions._
+ _Assist with environmental testing and system-level verification._
+ _Ensure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and security standards._
+ _Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. +._
+ _Must be available to work OT and possibly weekends_
_******Note: Must be available to work an off-shift schedule (2nd with a 10% shift differential or 4th shift weekends with a 15% shift differential). Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for up to 6 months******_
**_Basic Qualifications Electronic Technician 3_** _:_
+ _High school diploma and 4 years of related experience; or Electronics training is equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school._
+ _Experience in military or aerospace manufacturing or depot environments._
+ _Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications._
+ _Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance._
+ _U.S. citizenship required._
**_Preferred Qualifications Electronic Technician 3_** _:_
+ _Experience with RF applications, TWT tuning, automated testing, and MPM/TX testing._
+ _Knowledge of automated test systems and data acquisition software._
+ _Experience with SAP/GOLD/ Microsoft Office suites._
+ _DOD security clearance_

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,500.00 - $105,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
