The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Caseload:

+ K-2 Instructional Program

+ 10 students in the classroom

+ Many have the primary eligibility of Autism.

+ This is an extremely active classroom.

+ There is a need for a classroom BT and one for a 1:1 BT

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must hold IL Paraprofessional license.

+ High School diploma or equivalent required

+ Two (2) years of BT experience required.

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
