    Job Description

    **AECOM** is seeking a **Strategic Initiatives Lead** for one of our offices in **Sacramento, CA** . This role applies a high-level, strategic approach to resolving complex issues and delivering high-quality, integrated solutions. The position supports the development and implementation of key activities across planning, procurement, design, integration, construction, contract administration, and budget management. The Strategic Initiatives Lead collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives and successful execution of the high-speed rail program.

    + Develop and implement strategies to achieve the Program’s objectives

    + Support on strategic matters to ensure timely and effective decision-making

    + Advise on scope of activities including, but not limited to, supporting:

    + Strategic Planning

    + Contract Packaging

    + Reporting, Measurement, and Analytics

    + Training and Communications

    + Change Management and Organization Transformation

    + Special Initiatives

    Qualifications

    Minimum requirements:

    + BA/BS + 12 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership

    Preferred Requirements:

    + Advanced understanding of a relevant professional discipline

    + Ability to implement strategic goals and policies

    + Experience with managing cost, schedule development, and financial planning

    + Ability to implement and oversee program controls, risk management, and changes in the management process

    + A strong working knowledge of program stand-up and management

    + The ability to analyze and inspire innovative solutions to complex challenges

    + Experience in helping to lead major infrastructure programs and projects

    + Ability to liaise with senior executives, officials, and officers and effectively communicate ideas and information to all levels of organization

    + Ability to demonstrate a high level of organizational ability, and capable of pivoting and reprioritizing to meet changing program needs and deadlines

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Additional Information

    Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $282000 to $360000.
