The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for the assignment, coordination and/or the execution of activities within the maintenance group to ensure a productive workforce that supports the facility. Assists with planning and prepaer, OHration of work orders, preventative maintenance and new projects to ensure the plant is maintained in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and utility systems.
+ Provide training & mentoring for new hires.
+ Prioritize maintenance activities and employee tasks utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
+ Ensure that workflow and daily tasks are assigned and completed.
+ Interface with production managers, supervisors and maintenance personnel regarding equipment problems and evaluate machine operation variations in order to diagnose problems or to repair machinery.
+ Ensure that appropriate maintenance/repair parts are readily accessible for critical production machinery and facilities.
+ Ensure that work areas and general facilities are in compliance with ClarkDietrich safety standards.
+ Maintain department computer and documentation systems through organizing, controlling, and updating as required.
+ May fill in for Maintenance Manager in their absence and manage the computerized maintenance management system.
+ Ensures that all safety requirements are met by all employees
+ Promotes ClarkDietrich core values through actions as a role model
+ When necessary, can fill in for the Shift Supervisor in a non-supervisory role
+ Demonstrates a sound work ethic and actions that are necessary for continued advancement
+ Promotes employee unity through his role as a team leader
+ Any other duties required by supervisor.
Safety
+ Abide by and promote Cardinal Rules
+ Works safely and follows all safety rules and operational procedures
+ Wears and maintains all required PPE
+ Keeps assigned work area clean at all times
+ Understands all safety devices and their operation. Notifies management if safety devices are malfunctioning or missing prior to operation.
+ Safely operates all lifting devices per manufacturing specifications.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Maintenance Manager by ensuring that employees are adhering to established ClarkDietrich Safety, Production and Behavioral standards.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Mechanically Inclined Problem Solver Team Oriented EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Prior manufacturing experience required. MATHMATICAL SKILLS: Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals. Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer and caliper accurately. PHYSICAL ENVIORNMENT: * Lifting- Up to 50 lbs * Standing- 8 or more hours per day * Walking- Off and on, 4-6 hours per day * Body Positions- Squatting, bending, flexing and extending both arms * Grasping- Both hands, up to 8 hours per day * Sitting- occasionally * Pushing Effort- occasionally * Pulling- occasionally * Climbing- occasionally * Climb up and down stairs- occasionally WORK ENVIORNMENT: Manufacturing facility -- exposed to heat and cold Personal Protective Equipment required at all times Controlled Noise exposure Activity level is high -- continuous movement
Starting Pay
$60,000.00 plus OT depending on experience.
