Join Oracle’s elite sales team focused on our key telco partners. As the Data Platform Sales Representative dedicated to a single strategic telco account, you’ll have the opportunity to build and deliver creative, data-driven solutions that address complex industry challenges. What You’ll Do
+ Leverage deep understanding of the telco industry and your assigned account’s business priorities and technology landscape, with a focus on unlocking value from Oracle’s Data Platform and PaaS portfolio.
+ Foster long-term, trusted strategic partnerships within your telco customer, influencing technology adoption and supporting executive and C-level relationships.
+ Craft and execute a robust account plan, manage the sales pipeline, and drive account forecasting tailored to your customer’s digital transformation journey.
+ Act as the primary Oracle thought leader and advisor for data strategy—helping telco leaders architect, migrate, and run their business on Oracle’s unified cloud data solutions.
+ Collaborate extensively across Oracle’s ecosystem—including pre-sales, global business units, engineering, and external technology partners—to deliver transformative outcomes for your telco customer.
+ Build and execute targeted sales and marketing initiatives to drive awareness and adoption of Oracle Data Platform solutions within the account.
+ Take ownership of the entire sales cycle—from early prospecting to contract negotiation and post-sales engagement—ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
+ Continuously monitor telco industry trends, regulatory impacts, and technology evolutions to deliver relevant, insight-driven recommendations.
+ Travel as required to foster deeper relationships and drive account objectives.
+ Leverage Oracle resources to maximize revenue growth and strengthen the customer partnership.
Required Skills/Experience
What You’ll Bring:
+ Significant experience (8+ years) in enterprise technology sales preferably to large telecommunications organizations.
+ Deep knowledge of telco business models, industry drivers, and the evolving data landscape.
+ Demonstrated ability to sell to multi-stakeholder buying groups, including C-suite, engineering, and business leaders within large enterprise accounts.
+ Proven track record with cloud, PaaS, IaaS, and modern database solutions; comfortable with open source and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, Java).
+ History of exceeding sales objectives, owning and growing revenue in complex, large-scale account environments.
+ Strategic thinker with strong business development, presentation, and communication skills.
+ Entrepreneurial, driven, and inventive—thriving in dynamic, team-oriented environments.
+ Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with telco innovations and Oracle technology.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities
Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,600 to $207,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
