We have an outstanding Contract position for anFAA Senior Engineering Technicianto join a leading Company located inTorrance, CA.
Pay Rate: $39.22 - 41.97
Responsibilities :
+ Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and establish a standard production rate in the performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.
+ Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
+ May direct and lead the work of others.
+ Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
+ A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
+ Typical shift hours will be 8am - 5pm / M-F .
+ Will need to be open to Overtime and occasional Saturday work.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 4-6 years of experience in the field.
+ Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
+ Metallographic sample preparation experience
+ Knowledge of NADCAP and Aerospace specifications/testing methods
+ Able to learn new testing techniques and adapt to changing workloads
