Plant WD | Finishing Latex Operator |Shift 2

Position Overview

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for sewing secondary backing together, as well as, operating the selvage bailer and adhesive pan.

Essential Duties:

+ Sew rolls of backing together for continuous production

+ Operate the bailer (selvage)

+ Operate the secondary applicator

+ Maintain viscosities for the applicator

+ Give breaks for sew-on

Physical Requirements:

+ Frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and hear

+ Occasionally required to reach, handle, walk, and climb

+ Must be able to lift 70 lbs ten (10) times per shift

+ Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations
