Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position will rotate between Sauk Crossing, Southway and Northway Clinics.

What you’ll do:

+ Collect blood samples from the patient

+ Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients

+ Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up

Schedule:

+ Temporary until mid-April

+ Full-time | 80 hours per two weeks

+ Monday-Friday

+ Rotating shifts between 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, & 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay and Benefits:

+ Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour and increases with experience

+ Pay range: $17.00- $25.54 per hour

+ Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical -related program

+ Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
