Job Summary:

The Driver Technician will be responsible for safe operation of a DOT regulated vehicle, transporting materials/equipment from point A to point B. This role also executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner, including the safe delivery of water treatment chemicals to our customers in the Northeast.

Travel Requirements:

+ This position services customers in the northeast

+ 3 nights/week away from home on average

Education & Experience Requirements:

+ HS diploma or equivalent

+ Class A CDL required

+ 0-2 years experience operating a commercial vehicle

+ Clean driving record

+ Mechanical/technical experience preferred

+ Hazmat/tanker endorsements preferred but not required

+ Able to obtain TWIC card/DOT medical card

+ Able to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen

+ Able to drive overnight

Skill Requirements:

Work without direct supervision

Mechanical aptitude

Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices

Must have customer service experience

Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability

The estimated salary for this position is $28/hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
