    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Solar Superintendent to act as the owner’s representative to oversee the civil and structural aspects of the solar plant construction. This position is responsible for ensuring the adherence of the EPC to all Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Performance expectations as defined by the EPC’s Scope of Work and contractual commitments.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Review Safety Documents and Policies

    • Review Contract Documents (Scope of work)

    • Review Civil/Mechanical Drawings and Specifications

    • Review and Ensure SWPPP is installed and Maintained per Permit

    • Ensure EPC schedules Pre-Cons for New Tasks

    • Review Civil/Mechanical Checklist

    • Attend EPC Safety, Craft Tailgates and Management Meetings

    • Perform daily field walks and observations with field crews

    • Perform QA/QC inspections and walkdowns on construction activities

    • Monitor Unifier Uploads by EPC

    • Complete QA/QC inspections in Unifier per frequency and activity completion

    •Track Open Action Items or Punchlist

    Skills and Requirements

    Industrial experience in Civil and Structural construction. Minimum of 4 years.

     

    Comprehend Construction Drawings/Prints

     

    People Management

     

    Organization, Schedule/planning, Progress reporting

     

    Communication with Contractors Management and 3rd parties

     

    Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Data entry and Uploads.
