Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Terminal Operator who will have the responsibility of controlling the flow of material throughout the facility and maintaining certifications as required. The Terminal Operator loads trucks, unloads carriers (Railcars, Barges and Trucks). Conducts daily inspections on equipment and conducts minor repairs as needed. This position is a non-exempt position reporting directly to the Terminal Manager.

Skills and Requirements

• Records daily, beginning and ending inventory levels on tanks.

• Communicates with Lab Technician to determine product certifications.

• Transfers material from tank to tank.

• Verifies load information and loads Trucks the with appropriate Liquid Asphalt.

• Creates Bill of Ladings (BOL’s) and Bituminous Material Test Reports (If required).

• Modifies asphalt as directed and controls raw material usage.

• Receives and inspects liquid asphalt (railcar, barge, truck).

• Inspects equipment daily.

• Conducts minor repairs on equipment as needed. • Must have reliable transportation.

• Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends as needed.

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
