    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Java Developer to join our team supporting a Risk/identity Organization on a strategic platform integration and growth project. This is a hands-on role focused on building robust, scalable backend services using Spring Framework.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

     

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Venmo capabilities into existing systems.

     

    Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with risk management standards.

     

    Optimize application performance and scalability for high-volume transactions.

     

    Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -5+ years of professional experience in backend development (Java).

     

    -Strong proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data).

     

    -Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and relational databases.

     

    -Familiarity with risk management systems or payment platforms is a plus.

     

    -Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

     

    -Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

     

    -Understanding of financial services or payment processing systems.
