Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Junior to Mid Financial Analyst to help support a federal revenue collecting department within a government agency. The Analyst is primarily tasked with supporting financial operations, transaction improvement, performance assessment, metrics, process improvement, with some QA/QC-adjacent support.

Skills and Requirements

• An CBP BI/Public Trust

• MUST have a bachelor’s degree

• 3-7 for mid-level or 8-10 YOE for mid-level

• Experience with:

o Transaction processing

o Financial performance/operations analysis

• Strong Excel/analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication • Assist with transaction processing.

• Perform analysis over financial transactions.

• Assess performance of financial operations.

• Recommend opportunities for process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation.

• Support financial operations analysis and performance assessment activities

• Define and track metrics/KPIs for financial operations performance

• Assess current processes and recommend process improvements/streamlining

• Support QA/QC-type review activities as needed

• Document findings and present recommendations to stakeholders
