    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Data Service Implementation Specialist to join and End User Service team at a Life Science and Manufacturing Fortune 50 company. The company is undergoing an enterprise wide $10B divestiture, and the Data & Reporting team would like this candidate to be responsible for supporting the team's Database Architect with provisioning cloud resources, replicating data pipelines, migrating reports, and ensuring the new environment delivers accurate, actionable analytics for stakeholders. Key responsibilities include cloud environment set up, data pipeline replication, report and dashboard migration, testing and validation, and cutover and go-live support. In order to be successful, this consultant will be provisioning and configuring Azure SQL Databases, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric workspaces in the new cloud environment, recreate and validate Azure Data Factory pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources and systems, migrate Power BI project files and dataflows to the new Microsoft Fabric workspace, re-point reports to new database and validate all visuals, calculations, and dashboard for accuracy, investigate data and reporting discrepancies, support UAT and address feedback, coordinate the transition to the new environment and ensure all pipelines and dashboards are operational, and go live support.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (SQL Database, Data Factory) and Power BI (including Dataflows and workspace management).

    • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and cloud-based analytics solutions.

    • Experience with data migration projects, especially in regulated or enterprise environments.

    • Familiarity with data governance, security, and identity/access management in Azure.

    • Ability to troubleshoot data pipeline and reporting issues.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and business stakeholders. • Experience supporting divestitures, mergers, or large-scale cloud migrations.

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

    • Power BI certification or Azure Data Engineer certification.
