Job Description
Join a collaborative UX team designing internal-facing tools that empower client-facing advisors and service professionals. In this true UX role, you’ll work primarily within Salesforce—currently migrating to Financial Services Cloud—to solve complex, data-dense workflow challenges for financial consultants, wealth advisors, and service teams, with a focus on process, systems thinking, and making hard things feel simple in a highly constrained enterprise environment. You’ll design intuitive and efficient workflows in Salesforce Lightning and legacy internal applications, partner daily with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders (some challenging, most great), create high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and design-system components in Figma, present and defend design decisions with clear problem framing and research-backed rationale, and contribute to the ongoing migration and optimization of Schwab’s advisor platform on Financial Services Cloud.
Pay rate: $40-$50/hr

Skills and Requirements
4–8+ years of UX design experience (title can be mid or senior-mid)
Proven experience designing within Salesforce (any industry/flavor; Lightning experience strongly preferred)
Expert-level Figma skills (components, auto-layout, prototyping)
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process on complex internal/enterprise tools (case studies must show problem definition → research → solution → outcome)
Deep comfort working within rigid design systems and enterprise constraints
Excellent communication – ability to frame problems clearly and present to stakeholders and leadership
Solid understanding of Agile ceremonies and close collaboration with Product & Engineering
Basic grasp of front-end development realities (you won’t code, but you need to know what’s feasible) Direct experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
Previous work in financial services, wealth management, or other highly regulated industries (healthcare experience also translates well)
Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
Experience designing CRM workflows, call logging, client validation, or financial planning prep tools
On-site availability in Texas several days per week (huge plus)
