Job Responsibilities:
Insight Global’s client, an internationally recognized Teaching and Therapeutic Community, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support across multiple disciplines in a dynamic, highly regulated environment. This role is critical in driving HR strategy and operations, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training development. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, ensuring alignment with employment laws and organizational policies while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and develop new training curriculum in the Learning Management System (LMS) monthly to meet evolving business needs.
-Deliver training programs to hiring teams focused on:
Hiring processes and best practices
Core soft skills (communication, collaboration, feedback)
First-time leader and new manager development
-Continuously assess training effectiveness and update content based on feedback and performance outcomes.
-Handle employee relations issues, grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions, and provide guidance to management on employee-related matters to maintain a harmonious and productive work environment.
-Consult with management, People Operations, Legal, or other internal partners on leave of absence and job accommodation requests.
-Provide recommendations based on company policies and laws and ensure appropriate documentation to support decision making.
-Support and coordinate offboarding and position elimination activities to ensure a seamless and thoughtful process for affected employees and non-affected managers and employees.
-Provide change management support to management and People Operations.
-Partner with dedicated internal teams on issues that are highly complex or present significant risk to the business or company.
-Assist with annual performance review process, salary adjustments, and benefits of open enrollment.
-Serve as HR point of contact for field employees and supervisors.
-Be an advocate for an inclusive work environment and assist with team-building initiatives.
Compensation:
$35/hr to $37/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of Human Resources experience with a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, performance management, and HRIS usage required.
-Experience managing and maintaining Learning Management Systems (LMS).
-Experience supporting leaders and employees through difficult conversations related to disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and separations.
-Knowledge and direct application of employment law practices (e.g., California Labor Law, EEO, ADA, FMLA, DOL, etc.).
-Proven ability to handle confidential information and provide necessary follow-through.
-Experience working daily in an HRIS (i.e., ADP) maintaining and reporting on data.
-Independent professional capable of quickly shifting priorities and forming strong business relationships with diverse groups of people.
-Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. -Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, etc.
-HR certification (SHRM-CP or equivalent).
-Experience in non-profit, logistics, corrections, healthcare, or similarly demanding environments.
