Insight Globals Client is a leading workers’ compensation defense firm representing employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators across California. As they continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join the team.
Position Overview:
• As a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney, you will represent employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims throughout California. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, providing legal advice to clients, and handling all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in workers' compensation claims, including case preparation, discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Provide strategic legal advice to employers, insurers, and third-party administrators on workers’ compensation matters.
• Manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring that all client goals are met in a timely manner.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and medical professionals.
• Stay current on workers’ compensation laws, regulations, and trends in California.

Skills and Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California, in good standing.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in workers' compensation defense.
• Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws
• Familiarity with the WCAB (Workers' Compensation Appeals Board) process.
