    Job Description

    Insight Global is partnering with a rapidly growing organization in Austin, TX to hire an Accounting Manager! This is a fully onsite role (M-F), offering meaningful exposure to leadership, hands‑on ownership, and the opportunity to help shape processes in a dynamic environment.

    About the Role:

    As Accounting Manager, you’ll take ownership of the company’s core accounting operations, focusing on month-end close, general ledger management, and technical accounting. This is a hands-on role that requires preparing work, drafting technical accounting memos, and supporting audit processes. You’ll work in a multi-entity environment with complex intercompany relationships and consolidations - ideal for someone who thrives in full-cycle accounting and enjoys tackling diverse challenges while driving process improvements.

    What You'll Do:

    - Oversee month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

     

    - Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

     

    - Draft technical accounting memos aligned with US GAAP and FASB standards.

     

    - Support audit processes and maintain compliance with accounting policies.

     

    - Handle complex accounting areas such as leases, fixed assets, and stock compensation.

     

    - Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities.

     

    - Collaborate on ERP-related projects and process improvements.

     

    - Establish and refine accounting procedures as the organization grows.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

     

    - 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.

     

    - Proven experience in multi-entity operations, intercompany relationships, and consolidations.

     

    - Hands-on experience with month-end close and technical accounting.

     

    - Proven ability to design and implement accounting systems.

     

    - Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. - CPA certification.

     

    - Manufacturing or Big Four accounting background.

     

    - Experience in growth-stage or startup environments.
