    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking to hire a Test Technician at a large aerospace company. This hands-on technician role supports mechanical testing of components and executing a variety of mechanical tests such as wear, fatigue, tensile, and creep under simulated engine conditions. The technician will analyze failed parts, assist in root cause investigations, and ensure accurate test execution and documentation. Work includes supporting lifecycle testing, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining one-off test systems in a non-union environment, particularly within the tribology lab where wear and fatigue behavior are evaluated.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years of experience in a mechanical environment with at least an associate's degree

     

    - Required backgrounds: Automotive mechanic, machinist, machine shop, fabrications, hands on mechanical hobbies

     

    - Must be a great collaborator and problem solver - Experience with Hydraulics

     

    - CAD experience

     

    - Data analysis or automation experience

     

    - Controls system experience (MTS tensile testing/ flex test)

     

    - Machine programing
